The Rosemount 214C thermal resistance temperature sensor uses a Pt-100 unit or dual-element thermal resistance (RTD) and covers a temperature range from -196 to 600°C (-321 to 1112°F). This sensor is a special solution with a thin film and winding design for increased application flexibility. The sensor has A number of calibration options, including Class A or Class B sensor accuracy, and also provides a Callendar-Van Dusen constant for transmitter-sensor matching for high accuracy.
